0800-Horoscope.com has produced free weekly horoscopes every Monday morning since September 1, 1998 — a continuous 28-year run that places us among the longest-running independent astrology publications on the web. Across that time we have published more than 17,000 weekly forecasts and tens of thousands of daily ones, all freely available, never paywalled, and never owned by a media network.

0800-Horoscope.com is the original-content flagship of the EasyScopes Entertainment Network, a family of horoscope, astrology, and relationship properties operated by Euregio.Net AG continuously since 1995. The network's horoscope-publishing involvement predates almost every astrology site online today.

1. Dec 1995

   Sister site EasyScopes.com launches as a curated bookmark list of independent astrologers — one of the web's first dedicated horoscope indexes.

2. Feb 1996

   Sister site LoveTest.com launches (February 23) — the network's relationship-and-compatibility property.

3. Jun 1996

   EasyScopes formally launches on its own domain (version 2.0).

4. Jun 1997

   Sister site DailyScopes.com launches, adding daily horoscope publishing to the network.

5. Sep 1998

   0800-Horoscope.com launches on September 1, publishing original weekly horoscopes for all 12 zodiac signs.

6. Dec 1998

   Deborah Browning begins her weekly General Weekly Overview essay — the start of a 25-year contribution.

7. 2000

   Frank Burns of astro-software.com begins providing the calculation engine for the site's birth charts, compatibility tools, and personal forecasts.

8. Oct 2000

   Rita-Ann Freeman joins as primary astrologer, beginning a 21-year tenure writing the weekly sign forecasts.

9. Sep 2006

   Sister site LoveCalculator.be launches as the network's numerology-based compatibility property — eventually reaching 8 million sign-ups across 11 languages.

10. May 2018

    LoveCalculator.be pauses its main interactive feature for GDPR compliance; a refactored version is in development.

11. 2022

    Rita-Ann concludes her work with the site on January 3 after authoring more than 13,000 sign forecasts.

12. Feb 2023

    Editorial pipeline adopts Grammarly for language quality across all refactored content.

13. 2023

    Deborah retires from regular astrology work.

14. 2024+

    Weekly forecasts continue, produced by refactoring the combined 25-year archive against each week's current planetary transits.

Our astrologers

Three astrologers have shaped this site's voice across more than two decades of continuous publication — two long-serving contributors whose archive remains our editorial foundation, and our current associate editor who oversees today's weekly and daily forecasts.

Claudine Savelberg (2023–present)

Claudine Savelberg joined 0800-Horoscope.com as a staff writer in 2023 and has been Associate Editor & Lead Astrologer since 2024. A Leo Sun with Gemini Moon and Gemini Ascendant, Claudine grew up in Aachen and now lives in the Belgian-German border region. She has been reading astrology since the mid-1990s, with influences ranging from Susan Miller and Jonathan Cainer to Eugenia Last, Rita-Ann Freeman, David Ryan, and Kelli Fox. Deborah Browning (1998–2023)

Deborah Browning contributed our weekly General Weekly Overview essay every week from December 7, 1998 until her retirement from regular astrology work in 2023 — a 25-year contribution that shaped the editorial voice of the site for nearly its entire existence. Her warm, narrative style set the tone our readers came to expect each Monday.

Rita-Ann Freeman (2000–2022)

Rita-Ann Freeman was our primary weekly sign-forecast author from October 16, 2000 through January 3, 2022. Over those 21 years she authored more than 1,100 weekly columns — covering all 12 zodiac signs across topics including family, love, friendship, career, and finances — totalling roughly 13,000 individual sign forecasts. Her astrological framework remains the foundation of what we publish today, and her voice is the closest reference our current writing aims for.

Astrological calculation engine

Our interactive astrology tools — including the free birth chart, compatibility analyses, daily moon watch, and personal forecasts — are powered by astro-software.com, a specialised astrology software service founded by Frank Burns. We have worked with Frank continuously since April 2000, a 26-year partnership that has provided the computational backbone for every birth chart, compatibility analysis, and personalised forecast produced on this site.

How the site is produced today

Since Rita-Ann's departure in early 2022 and Deborah's retirement in 2023, our weekly and daily forecasts have been produced by refactoring and updating their combined archive against each week's current planetary transits, under the editorial oversight of Claudine Savelberg. This process combines:

• Editorial review of the archive material relevant to the current astrological themes
• A computational editorial process that updates dates, transit references, and seasonal context
• Final human review including grammar and language-quality checking — more than 3 million words have been analyzed via Grammarly since February 2023

The astrological framework — the interpretive lens, the personality of the site — comes from the foundational work of Rita-Ann and Deborah. The specific weekly themes, planetary positions, and dates are updated for the current week. We describe this process openly because we believe transparency about how content is produced matters.
